LongeviQuest is saddened to report that Italian supercentenarian Elide Quaroni passed away at 110 on 28 June 2024. At the time of her death, she was among the oldest living person in the region of Lombardy.

Quaroni was born in the municipality of Castel San Giovanni, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, on 28 April 1914. During her childhood, she worked as a rice picker and later as an embroiderer. Longevity ran in her family, with her mother living until the age of 102.

Quaroni married Cesare Grossi, with whom she had two children, Mario and Lina. As of 2024, she had five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
