Anna Maie Cheek was born in Mississippi, United States, on 1 December 1892. At some point, she got married to her husband.
Her hobbies included gardening, flower arranging, and playing bridge. She was known to be an avid traveler throughout much of her life. She was a member of the Greene County Medical Society Alliance, PEO, and the Southern Club.
