LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Yoshi Tanaka at 111 years old. She was a Japanese supercentenarian known as the second-oldest living person in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Yoshi was born on 17 April 1900 in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. She reportedly recalled that she was able to hear the sound of the Russian Fleet’s cannons as they fire off the shore of Hagi.

When she was 20 years old, she got married and had four daughters with her husband. Unfortunately, her spouse passed away when she was only 77 years old. That is why she lived independently for 27 years before moving into a nursing home when she was 104 years old.

Mrs. Tanaka passed away on 12 July 2011 in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.
