Simonne Leduc, Quebec’s Oldest Living Person, Passed Away at 111 Years Old

LongeviQuest is saddened to report that Simonne Leduc passed away at 111 years old. She was a Canadian supercentenarian known as the oldest living person in the province of Quebec.

Simonne Leduc was born on 31 October 1911.

At some point, she married Orphir Leduc, with whom she had at least three children: André, Francine, and Nicole.

On 19 October 2022, following the death of Émilienne Marcil-Pigeon, she became the oldest known living person in Quebec.

Leduc passed away in Laval, Quebec, Canada, on 26 October 2023, at the age of 111 years, 360 days. She was just five days shy of celebrating her 112th birthday.
