LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Mary Denny at 111 years old. She was an American supercentenarian recognized as the oldest living person in Ohio, USA, at the time of her death.

Mary Denny was born on 10 June 1910 in Suffield Township, Portage County, Ohio, USA. She was the youngest of her six older siblings born to parents Joseph William Bissler and Mary Kehner. When she was six years old, her father passed away due to seizure and so the siblings started working at a young age, even without compensation.

She met her future husband while working as a waitress at a neighborhood saloon. The couple was married in 1938 and had no children during the course of their marriage. Instead, the two of them ran a saloon and tavern in Suffield together.
