BIOGRAPHY

Tsuna Kanno was born in Japan on 23 November 1910. At some point, she had children.

Kanno moved into a nursing home for the elderly in Date City, Fukushima Prefecture, sometime after reaching the age of 100. In December 2010, a special event took place at Kanno’s residence in Date City, where local officials visited to commemorate her 100th birthday. During the celebration, she received a congratulatory letter from the governor of Fukushima Prefecture, along with gifts and money.

Tsuna Kanno passed away at the nursing home in Date City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, on 8 December 2020, at the age of 110 years, 15 days.

RECOGNITION

In September 2020, she was reported as the fourth-oldest living person in Fukushima Prefecture, behind Hana Seki, Kimiko Hakozaki, and Tomiko Kusano.
