Sakae Fujii (Japanese: 藤井榮) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest. At the time of death, she was the oldest living person in Shimane Prefecture.

BIOGRAPHY

Sakae Fujii was born in Japan on 30 March 1910.

By the time she was 100 years old, she had moved into a nursing home. In September 2010, when she was 100, she was visited by the Mayor of Masuda.

Sakae Fujii passed away in Hikimi-cho, Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, on 15 June 2021, at the age of 111 years, 77 days.

RECOGNITION

In September 2018, she was reported as the oldest living person in Shimane Prefecture. Upon her death, 110-year-old Fumi Fujiwara became the oldest living person in the Prefecture.
