Olga de Souza Caldas was born in Rio de Janeiro City, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 24 September 1911.

In her 30s, she got married and moved to the city of São Gonçalo. She had three children. Her husband passed away just several years after the marriage. Until she got older, she would regularly attend church in São Gonçalo. As of 2019, only one of her children was still living; Maurício Antonio Caldas, aged 75.

Olga de Souza Caldas passed away in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 14 March 2022, at the age of 110 years, 171 days.

RECOGNITION
