Cosaque was born on 27 May 1913, presumably in Guadeloupe. At the age of 110, she is the second-oldest living person on the island known to researchers, after Émilienne Bécarmin, 112.
According to Cosaque’s family, there is a dispute over the correct rendering of her name, as errors may have been made in official documentation.
She passed away in Gourbeyre, Guadeloupe, at the age of 110 years, 278 days.
Cosaque was not known to researchers until an article was published congratulating her on attaining supercentenarian status.
