Margaret Miller Hack (née Connery) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in British Columbia.

Biography

Hack was born as Margaret Miller Connery in Kildonan, Manitoba, Canada, on 16 May 1906. Her parents were James Connery, born in Northern Ireland, and Mary Hoome, born in Scotland.

In 1928, she married Edward John Hack. In the 1940s they moved to a ranch at Dead Man’s Lake. She worked at a packing house for a number of years. After retirement, the couple moved to Osoyoos, British Columbia. They had no children of their own, but always took in foster children.

In the 1970s, she and her husband began taking world cruises. Her husband passed away around 2001, after 73 years of marriage.

Hack passed away in Osoyoos, British Columbia, Canada, on 10 July 2016.
