Ina Okazawa (Japanese: 岡澤 イナ) is a Japanese supercentenarian who is the oldest resident of Ibaraki Prefecture and the fourth-oldest in Japan. She is currently among the ten oldest living people in the world whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

Recognition

Upon the death of Yasue Okai, 114, on 6 February 2023, Okazawa entered the top 10 oldest validated living people in Japan.

On 11 February 2024, following the passing of 114-year-old Seki Yoshida, Okazawa became the oldest living person in Ibaraki Prefecture.

Okazawa’s age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Yumi Yamamoto and Ryohei Asano, and validated by LongeviQuest on 17 February 2024.

Following the 22 February 2024 death of 116-year-old Edie Ceccarelli, Okazawa became one of the top 10 oldest validated living people in the world.
