Annie Bernice Wallace (née French) was an American supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest. At the time of her death, she was one of the oldest living people in the U.S. state of Texas.

Biography

Wallace was born in Arkansas, USA, on 25 March 1907, the seventh of eleven children born to William Francis French (1872–1933) and Rosie Ann Lesley (1877–1944). At the age of 9, she moved to Garland, Texas, where she spent the most of her life. In 1927, she married Ike Edward Wallace in Texas. On 3 December 1939, the couple had a son, Donald.

In 1954, Wallace became a member of the First Christian Church of Garland (Disciples of Christ) and remained an active member for the rest of her life. Towards the end of her life, she developed arthritis, and as a result could no longer drive herself to church.

In her later life, Wallace was hindered by arthritis, which affected her crocheting and embroidering.

At the time of her 110th birthday in 2017, she had one grandchild and five great-grandchildren.

Wallace passed away on 15 February 2019, at the age of 111 years, 327 days.
