Yukiko Nakao (Japanese: 中尾ユキ子) was a Japanese supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Yukiko Nakao was born on 26 December 1914 in Kawatana-cho, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.

After residing in Tokyo, she relocated to Nogata City, Fukuoka Prefecture, with her mother following the war. She lived independently in a housing complex within the city for an extended period, but moved to a cooperative housing facility in 2012.

Her daily routine consisted of washing her face and dressing independently, followed by sitting in her designated seat in the lounge. In the morning, she typically had breakfast at approximately 7:00 a.m. She also bundled newspapers with string and stamped the residents’ communication notebooks. After dinner, she spent time tidying her room until around 9:00 p.m. Her favorite food was somen noodles, which she preferred because they were quick to eat and did not cause any discomfort to her stomach.
