Yuki Aizawa (Japanese: 相澤ユキ) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.
BIOGRAPHY
Yuki Aizawa (相澤ユキ) was born in Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan, on 18 November 1908. She later lived in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture.
At the age of 98, she participated as the oldest competitor in a shuffleboard event covered by Morioka City. Speaking about the activity, she said, “I regularly practice with everyone and enjoy it.” Through sports, she maintained friendships and social connections with fellow participants.
Aizawa passed away at her home in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, on 8 May 2019, at the age of 110 years and 171 days.
RECOGNITION
In August 2018, following the death of Miho Satō at the age of 109, Aizawa became the oldest living person in Iwate Prefecture.
Her age was verified by MHLW, Japan, and Ryohei Asano, and validated by LongeviQuest on 16 June 2026.
