Yoshie Saitō

BIOGRAPHY

Yoshie Saito (斎藤ヨシヱ) was born in Japan on December 25, 1892.

She passed away in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, on August 13, 2004, at the age of 111 years and 232 days. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest person in Yamagata Prefecture, following Shun Suzuki.

RECOGNITION

Saitō’s age was verified by the MHLW, as well as Tom Li and the IDL, and was validated by the GRG on 25 March 2012.
