BIOGRAPHY

Tsuruki Yamasaki was born in Japan on 5 May 1899.

In 2003, Yamasaki lived in Tsuno Town (formerly Hayama Town until a merger in 2005), Kōchi Prefecture.

Tsuruki Yamasaki passed away at hospital in Susaki City, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan, on 26 May 2010, at the age of 111 years, 21 days. It is reported that she had four living daughters at the time of her passing.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Ryohei Asano and Yumi Yamamoto, and validated by LongeviQuest on 8 December 2023.
