Toshimi Kikkawa was born in Japan on 31 March 1907.

At the age of 111, she was reportedly living in a nursing home in the city of Hatsukaichi.

Toshimi Kikkawa passed away in Takamiyacho Harada, Akitakata, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, on 10 October 2018, at the age of 111.

RECOGNITION

On 2 April 2018, following the death of 111-year-old Harue Nobira, she became the oldest living person in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Upon her death, Yoshikazu Yamashita became the oldest living person in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Yu Li, and validated by LongeviQuest on 10 July 2023.
