Terui Katsuyama (Japanese: 勝山てるい) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

Terui Katsuyama was born in Japan on 30 May 1909. She worked as an apple farmer in Takayama Village.

Terui Katsuyama passed away in Takayama Village, Kamitakai District, Nagato Prefecture, Japan, on 27 August 2020, at the age of 111 years, 89 days.

RECOGNITION

At the time of death, she was the second-oldest living person in Nagano Prefecture, behind Shizu Satō (who died two days after Katsuyama).
