Tamie Irie (Japanese: 入江タミエ) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Tamie Irie was born on 14 October 1899 in Japan, and lived for many years in Kurogi-machi, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. She had children.

Irie passed away on 28 September 2010 in Yame City, Fukuoka, Japan, at the age of 110 years and 349 days.

RECOGNITION

As of September 2007, Irie was recognized as one of the top ten oldest people in Fukuoka Prefecture. By 15 September 2010, she had become the third-oldest living person in the prefecture, behind Hatsuno Tanaka and Chiyo Yamaguchi.

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Ryohei Asano, and validated by LongeviQuest on 1 January 2025.
