Suzanne Aimée Décélis was an Algerian-born French supercentenarian.
BIOGRAPHY
Suzanne Décélis was born in Meurad, Tipaza, Algeria (then French Algeria), on 13 July 1909.
Suzanne Décélis passed away in Paris, on 6 January 2022, aged 112 years, 177 days.
RECOGNITION
At the time of her passing, she was the fourth-oldest (known) living person in France, following Lucile Randon, Elise Tavan, and Iréna Martial (although Martial was from the overseas department of Guadeloupe).
Her age was verified by the members of Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) 29 February 2024.
