Susana Correia Conceição Silva Reis was a Portuguese supercentenarian. Her age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO).
BIOGRAPHY
Susana Correia Conceição Silva Reis was born in Lisbon, Portugal, on 23 April 1905. Her parents were António Tomás da Conceição Silva (1869–1958) and Laura Correa. Her father was a painter, ceramist, university professor and freemason.
Suzana studied piano and trained at the Conservatory under the guidance of Alexandre Rey Colaço. She had a particular fondness for Mozart’s scores. However, it was dance that excited her the most. The modern dance of the schools of Isadora Duncan and later Martha Graham.
Susana Correia Conceição Silva Reis passed away in Lisbon, on 9 May 2016, at the age of 111 years, 16 days.
