Simone Palardy Bessette was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.
BIOGRAPHY
Pelardy Bessette was born in Quebec, Canada, on 13 February 1913, to parents Osias Palardy and Marie Anne Fréchette. She had at least three sisters: Berthe, Thérèse, and Jeanne.
At some point, she married Romuald Bessette. The couple had two children: Régis Bessette and Nicole (married Brochu).
Pelardy Bessette passed away in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, on 9 December 2023, at the age of 110 years, 299 days. She was survived by her two children, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
RECOGNITION
At the time of death, she was the third-oldest (known) living person in Quebec, behind Annette Brunet and Margaret Romans.
