BIOGRAPHY

Shige Hirooka was born in Japan on 16 January 1897. She lived in Osaka prefecture and died on 29 March 2011 at the age of 114 years, 72 days, being the oldest ever from her prefecture at that time.

RECOGNITION

Her death report was not reported until August 2011, like Hatsue Ono‘s death report on 23 February 2013.
