Seki Kobayashi was born on 11 April 1903 in Japan, and lived in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, with her children and grandchildren.
From September 2011 to September 2013, she was anonymously mentioned in prefectural press releases as the second-oldest person in Fukushima Prefecture.
She passed away on 24 November 2013 at a nursing home in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, due to natural causes related to old age.
At the time of her death, she was the the second-oldest living person in Fukushima Prefecture, behind Sute Sato.
Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Ryohei Asano, and validated by LongeviQuest on 15 December 2024.
