Ruby Elizabeth Davis (née Rogers; formerly Moore) is an American supercentenarian.
Ruby Davis was born in Colony, Kansas, USA, on 23 July 1914. Her parents were Wiley Elmore and Bertha Mae Rogers. She grew up on her family’s farm in Coffee County, Kansas, and attended Prairieville Grade School. She later went on to graduate from Colony High School in 1933. Early in her working life, she helped neighbors with various odd jobs. She eventually secured a position in Iola, Kansas, working at the Sifers candy factory, where she helped make Christmas candy.
She was first married to William Moore, and later to Clyde Davis. Throughout her life, she remained active in her community. She was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church in Iola, participated in the Happy Hearts FCE Unit and the Sunflower Quilt Guild, and volunteered with the Allen County Hospital Auxiliary and the Red Cross Blood Drive.
She continued driving until the age of 100. Remarkably, she passed her driving test in Kansas at both 99 and 100 years old.
On 5 May 2025, following the passing of Mary Chesney, she became the oldest known living person in Missouri.
Her age has not been validated.
