BIOGRAPHY
Rosa Rosario-Santos was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, on 9 April 1911. At some point, she married Angel Santos. The couple had seven children: Noemi Heguigorri, Digna Canales, Jose L. Santos, Carmen Leduc, Nelida Santos, Manuel Santos, and Migdalia De Jesus Santos; she outlived the last three.
Rosa Rosario-Santos passed away in Brownsville, Texas, USA, on 15 October 2022, at the age of 111 years, 189 days. She was survived by four of her children, as well as 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and her younger sister, Luisa Ortiz.
RECOGNITION
Her age was validated by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS) on 19 October 2022. The validation was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
