Her husband, Giuseppe Patrono, a farmer and carpenter, died in 1955 at the age of 57. The couple had three children, two of whom she outlived. She was survived by her daughter Rita, who was 85 at the time, and was predeceased by her son Erminio, who died at 53, and her daughter Giovanna, who passed away in 2012. A grandson, Francesco, also died in 2012 in an accident.
