Remei Company Ventura was born in Catalonia, Spain, on 10 February 1903, the youngest of five children.

Remei Company Ventura passed away in Castellar del Vallès, Catalonia, on 28 May 2014, at the age of 111 years, 107 days. At the time of her passing, she also had 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

RECOGNITION

At the time of her passing, she was the second-oldest living person in Catalonia, after Ana Vela Rubio.

Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 24 March 2014, and was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
