Reine Alphonsine Goix (née Houry) was a French supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Reine Goix was born in the commune of Chaintreaux in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France, on 27 February 1904. Her parents were Alphonse Isidore Houry (born 1874) and Maria Lecot. She married in 1927 but was widowed in 1932 and had no children. From July 2008 until her passing in 2014, she lived at the Agena retirement home in Nemours.

Reine Goix passed away in Nemours in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France, on 31 March 2014, at the age of 110 years, 32 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by the members of Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 24 May 2023.
