BIOGRAPHY

Pensa was born in Centro Valle Intelvi, Lombardy, Italy, on 16 October 1913.

At some point, she married Alberto Botta, and the couple had four children: Rosa Angela, Gianpietro, Giovanna and Marsiglio. She was a homemaker for the most of her life. Her husband passed away in 1986.

At the age of 110, she had 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. At the time, her son mentioned that the family believed her “elixir of life” was coffee. She had always enjoyed drinking it and continued to do so even at 110. Three of her children (all but Giovanna) were living at the time, aged 88, 87, and 72 respectively.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by the ESO on 29 April 2024.
