BIOGRAPHY
Anna Pauline McCoy was born in Polo, Ogle County, Illinois, USA, on 9 May 1915, to Joseph Andrew McCoy and Anna Leola Sours.
In 1920, her family was living in Maryland. In the 1930s, she moved to Virginia, where she married James William Pobst on 21 August 1933, in Luray, Page County. The couple went on to have at least three children together. She lived with her husband and family in rural Urbana for over 40 years. In the 1970s, Pauline and James moved to California, where James passed away on 2 April 1988 at age 77. After her husband’s passing Pauline returned to Indiana.
