Pauline Brinkley (née Daughtery) was an American supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Brinkley was born near Cave-In-Rock, Illinois, USA, on 17 October 1906, to parents William E. and Martha R. Daugherty. At some point, she married James W. “Bill” Brinkley, and the couple had a son, William A. “Tony” Brinkley. Her husband passed away on 4 February 1996, and her son on 14 September 2007. For some time, she resided in Madisonville, Kentucky. She traveled a lot, visiting places such as Germany, Alaska, and Mexico.

At 100 years old, she was still driving and doing her own grocery shopping. After turning 100, the state required her to renew her driver’s license, which she successfully passed.

Brinkley passed away at Magnolia Trace in Huntsville, Alabama, USA, on 22 July 2017, at the age of 110 years, 278 days. She was survived by her daughter-in-law, three grandsons, and eight great-grandchildren.
