Naka Matsuzaki (松﨑ナカ) was born in Japan on January 1, 1896.
In September 2004, she was reported as the second-oldest person in Chiba Prefecture, following a 109-year-old anonymous man.
In September 2005, Matsuzaki was officially recognized as the oldest living person in Chiba Prefecture.
She passed away from natural causes at a hospital in Chiba City on February 6, 2007, at the age of 111 years and 64 days. Following her passing, Kō Iijima of Asahi City succeeded her as the oldest living person in the prefecture.
Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group on 13 October 2006 and later recognized by LongeviQuest.
