Moto Yamada passed away in Tachiarai, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, in February 2015, at the age of 111 years, 212-239 days.
RECOGNITION
In September 2013, she was reported as the third-oldest living person in Fukuoka Prefecture, after Kane Tanaka and Tsuna Saitō.
Her age was verified by the MHLW, Japan, and validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 2 September 2014. The validation was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
