Mori Kobayashi (Japanese: 小林も里) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Mori Kobayashi was born in Japan on 23 September 1908. She got married and had children.

Kobayashi lived with her family in Nanbu Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, and was congratulated by the mayor and relatives on her 100th birthday in September 2008. After turning 100, she moved into a nursing home where her son was the director and spent the last few years of her life there.

Kobayashi passed away on 2 January 2019, at the age of 110 years, 101 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Yumi Yamamoto and Ryohei Asano, and validated by LongeviQuest on 15 June 2024.
