Minnie Mae Walker (née Flemister) is an American supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Minnie May Walker was born in Monticello, Arkansas, on 6 May 1914, the youngest of three children. She pursued higher education in Jackson, Mississippi, where she became a certified teacher.

In 1943, she married James R. Walker, and the couple remained together until his passing in 2009. They settled in Taylor, Arkansas, and raised four children. After marrying, she left the field of education to devote herself to raising her family and helping maintain the family farm. She later worked for 17 years at Firestone/Amfuel in Magnolia, Arkansas.

Even in her later years, she remained a devoted member of St. Paul Baptist Church, where she had previously served as an usher, Sunday School superintendent, Sunday School teacher, and janitor. While she was still active, she was an avid reader of the Bible and enjoyed gardening.
