Walker was born in the city of London, England, on 28 August 1911.

Walker passed away in Croydon, London, England, on 12 September 2024, at the age of 113 years, 15 days.

RECOGNITION

Walker’s age was verified by Andrew Holmes and Rob Campbell, and validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) on 9 September 2023. The validation was later recognised by LongeviQuest.

At the time of her passing, she was the second-oldest living person in the United Kingdom, behind Ethel Caterham.
