BIOGRAPHY
Mary Camerlengo was born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on 26 November 1902, to parents Raphael Camerlengo and Anna Piscopo. She had seven brothers (Phillip, Albert, Rico, Guy, Ernie, Anthony, and Michael), and four sisters (Rose Masiello, Margaret Mason, Annie Camerlengo, and Julia Meads). She never married nor had children of her own.
Mary and her sister Annie moved from West Roxbury, Massachusetts, to Deltona in 1974. Mary continued to live independently in her home until the age of 103, insisting on doing her own gardening and housework throughout those years.
Mary Camerlengo passed away in DeLand, Florida, on 20 January 2013, at the age of 110 years, 55 days.
RECOGNITION
Her age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 21 November 2014, and the validation was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
