Marie-Louise Antoinette Renier was a French supercentenarian who was the third-oldest known person in the region of Centre-Val de Loire. Her age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG), the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO), and recognised by LongeviQuest.

BIOGRAPHY

Renier was born in Fresselines (Le Grand Drablet), Creuse, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, on 21 November 1898. She relocated to Aubigny-sur-Nère, Cher, Centre-Val de Loire, where she died on 5 January 2009 at the age of 110 years, 45 days.

RECOGNITION

At the time of her death, Renier was the third-oldest Hauts-de-France resident after Mathilde Aussant (1898 – 2011) and Aline Beslay (1898 – 2009).

Renier’s age was verified by Luc Le Lay (GRG) and Cyril Depoudent of Les Grands Centenaires Français (ESO), and was validated by each organisation on 2 March 2009 and 6 September 2022.
