Marie Louise Joséphine Le Barillier (née Dupret) was a French supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Marie Le Barillier was born in the commune of Bricquebec in the Manche department in Normandy in northwestern France, on 13 May 1906.

During World War II, she was living in Paris in 1940. Her family, who were in the countryside, did not suffer too much from the hardships of the war and regularly sent her parcels.

Marie Le Barillier passed away in Saint-Lô, Normandy, France, on 12 December 2017, at the age of 111 years, 213 days.

RECOGNITION

Le Barillier’s age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO).
