María Medina Prieto

BIOGRAPHY

María Medina Prieto was born in Pizarra, Andalusia, Spain, on 10 December 1905. She arrived in Reus in 1945, where she raised her family. After her husband’s death, she took on the responsibility of raising their three young daughters on her own.

In 2014, she moved into the Ciutat de Reus residence.

María Medina Prieto passed away in Reus, Catalonia, Spain, on 17 January 2016, at the age of 110 years, 38 days.
