María del Pilar Salinas is a Honduran supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest. She is currently the oldest known living person in Honduras.

BIOGRAPHY
María del Pilar Salinas was born in Gualaco, Olancho Department, Honduras, on 12 October 1914. She was orphaned at an early age, as her mother died when she was 10.
She had no formal schooling; she acquired literacy through an adult education program, initially learning the alphabet and later reading the Bible.
She never married but had two partners, with whom she had 10 children.
At the age of 111, she had nine living chidren, over 70 grandchildren, and a large and unknown number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
When asked about the secret of her long life, she said: “God, he keeps me alive“.
She currently lives in Catacamas, Olancho Department, Honduras.
