María de los Bueis Rodríguez was a Spanish supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Her age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) and recognised by LongeviQuest.
De los Bueis Rodríguez was born in Becerril de Campos, located in the province of Palencia in Castile and León, on 6 July 1900. She was married and had seven daughters.
After being widowed in around 1962, De los Bueis Rodríguez moved to Barcelona. In her later years, she lived in a nursing home in the city. On her 106th birthday, she claimed that working and eating a lot was the secret to her longevity.
De los Bueis Rodríguez died on 8 July 2010 at the age of 110 years, 2 days.
De los Bueis Rodríguez’s age was verified by Emilio Ibáñez, David Guarnizo, and Miguel Quesada, and was validated by the GRG on 18 August 2014.
