BIOGRAPHY
María Ángeles Fernández Osete was born in Cazorla, Andalusia, Spain, on 15 May 1910. At some point, she got married and had four children. After moving to Begur, she started working at a hotel.
On her 100th birthday, the City Council of Begur honored her with a bouquet of flowers and a commemorative plaque, presented by the mayor, Joan Català, and the councilor for the elderly, Maite Selva. At the time of her 108th birthday, she had 14 grandchildren, and an unspecified number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Fernández Osete passed away in Begur, Catalonia, Spain, on 20 February 2021, at the age of 110 years, 281 days.
