BIOGRAPHY

Marguerite Chatard was born in Aix-les-Bains in the Savoie department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France, on 29 May 1914. Demonstrating exceptional skill in drawing, she enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in Lyon. Following her graduation, she dedicated approximately ten years to honing her talent as an illustrator.

Marguerite Chatard passed away in Villars-les-Dombes in the Ain department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France, on 6 January 2025, at the age of 110 years, 222 days.
