BIOGRAPHY

Marcelle Colisson was born in the commune of Epenoy in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France, on 1 June 1905. Her parents were Charles Laurent Colisson (1868–1934) and Anne Marie Caroline Pourcelot (born 1865). She had five older siblings: Marie Thérèse Appoline (1892–1968), Marthe Emilie Gabrielle (1894–1994), Marie Louise Appoline (1897–1970), Magdelaine Virginie (1899–1989), and Joseph Charles Julien (1901–1985).

Marcelle Colisson passed away in the commune of Saint-Martin-de-Ré in the western French department of Charente-Maritime, on 18 November 2015, at the age of 110 years, 170 days.

RECOGNITION

Her age was validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO). This validation is yet to be recognized by LongeviQuest.
