Magdeleine Henriette Joséphine Rossignol (née Crombé) was a French supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Magdeleine Rossignol was born in Roubaix in the Nord department, Hauts-de-France region, on 22 September 1907. Her parents were Joseph Henri Pie Crombé (1880–1941) and Madeleine Marguerite Delarra (1878–1976). She had two younger siblings: Jacques Édmond Joseph (1910-1959) and Jacqueline Félicie Louise (1918-2004).

On 4 January 1932, at 24, she married Yves Marie Rossignol (1897–1974) in Roubaix. The couple had three sons: José-Maria, Guy Jean Jacques, and Jean-Luc.

Rossignol passed away in Massy in the Essonne department, Île-de-France region, on 31 July 2018, at the age of 110 years, 312 days.

RECOGNITION

Rossignol’s age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO).
