Lillie Cobb

BIOGRAPHY

Cobb was born Lillie Pettus in Electric Mills, Mississippi, on 17 September 1908, to parents Joseph Pettus (20 March 1862? – 28 March 1966) and Emma Flemming (1880–1964). Her father reportedly died at 104 years, 8 days old.

Cobb had at least one son, James Bell Pettus (1924–2001). Later, she married Hermon E. Cobb (1905–1988).

Cobb passed away in Jackson, Tennessee, on 5 December 2018, at the age of 110 years, 79 days.
