Leola Woodruff (née Barrett) was an American supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Leola Woodruff was born Annie Leola Barrett in Milam, Texas, USA, on 21 June 1892, as the eldest child born to parents Rodney Sebastian Barrett (1852–1918) and Mary Jane Allen (1873–1954).

In 1916, she married Ashton Claire Woodruff (1887–1951). The couple had two sons, Dennis Hawkins Woodruff (1916–1942) and Don Winston Woodruff (1925–2023). Her son Dennis was a First Lieutenant in the 11th Army Air Force, 18th Pursuit Squadron, during World War II. He tragically lost his life in a plane crash in Alaska on 24 April 1942, at the age of 25.

Woodruff passed away in Gainesville, Texas, USA, on 20 January 2003, at the age of 110 years, 213 days.
