Kuma Kobayashi was born in Japan on 8 February 1904.
Kuma Kobayashi passed away in Toyokawa, Aichi Prefecture, sometime between 8 and 28 February 2017, shortly following her 113th birthday.
RECOGNITION
Her age was verified by Alessandro Delucchi and the MHLW, Japan, and validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 17 September 2015. The validation was later recognized by LongeviQuest.
At the time of her passing, she was the second-oldest living person in Aichi Prefecture, after Shimoe Akiyama.
